Description
The Cypress Cove Boardwalk has been closed to the public since the deck boards deteriorated beyond safe use. The support piers remain sound, so the restoration is largely a matter of replacing the walking surface and handrails.
Friends of Noxubee Refuge has committed to raising $25,000 toward this work by the end of 2026, which will allow the boardwalk to reopen in early 2027.
Gifts of any amount are welcome, and all donations through this page are designated for boardwalk restoration.
